All week Room 2 has been learning about Matariki. Today our class went to Room 15, a new entrant classroom, to celebrate Matariki and have some fun together. Thank you to Room 15 and all the parents who prepared food for our shared lunch. Here are some photos.
This week Room 2 worked hard to perfect their dance performances and did amazingly well performing in the dance showcases. For ten weeks students learnt three dances and they were very excited and proud to show others their moves. So thank you to the friends and whānau who supported students and attended Papakura Central's Dance Showcases.
Last week Room 2 learnt the names for shapes in te reo to fit with the geometry we have been learning for Math. Students either made an animation or a poster about a shape in te reo. Here are a bunch of animations that were created.
